Organization's MISSION in the community:   

Faith in Action is a non-profit coalition of volunteers from faith communities who provide service to help chronicall ill or elderly. 

SERVICES in the community: 

Faith in Action provides transportation to and from medical appointments.  Priority given to dialysis and cancer patients.  Services also extend to grocery shopping and running errands. 

VOLUNTEER opportunities: 

Volunteers are trained by Valley Health to transport clients.  The volunteers help our elderly maintain their independence for as long as possible.  Volunteers drive to medical appointments, shop, or just visit those who need help with daily activities.  To give of your time for an hour a month or more, please contact the Faith in Action office.  Your help is invaluable in helping those in need.
