Organization's MISSION in the community:
United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley is an organization that convenes, facilitates, collects and distributes resources and makes a positive impact on issues that matter most to the people of our community. We work with member agencies and other community partners to provide services to Winchester/Frederick, Clarke and Shenandoah Counties.
SERVICES provided in the community:
Area: Winchester, Clarke, Frederick and Shenandoah Counties
Services: conduct a community campaign, manage/distribute funds, Community Impact human services planning, nonprofit management training, foster powerful partnerships to meet the needs of the community
VOLUNTEER Opportunities:
Volunteers should be reliable and people oriented. There are many volunteer opportunities with the United Way ranging from packing campaign supplies, assisting with computer update, to cultivating new accounts.
Availability: 2 to 4 hours per week
Volunteer must have own means of transportation.
