VOLUNTEER Opportunities:
There are many volunteer opportunities at Winchester Medical Center (WMC). More than 700 individual volunteers are placed in more than 50 areas.  We invite you to join this team and use your special skills, knowledge and time to touch the lives of your neighbors.  A few of the available positions include:  Gift Shop, Thrift Store, Attic, Courtesy Van Driver, Hurst Hospitality House, Information Desks, Wellspring Cancer Center, Wellness Center, Emergency Room Liaisons, Patient Visitor or Patient Mail Deliver, newspaper and flowers to patients. 

Volunteer Applications can be picked up from the WMC Volunteer Office or on the web site.  Once an application is received, an Interview is conducted.  During training the following steps will be reviewed:  Criminal Background Check, Health Clearance, placement of volunteer in department based on their interests as well as the need of each department, Orientation Training Session (runs about 2 hours).  We encourage you to stop by to see us.  Office hours:  Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm.
