Community Volunteer Programs improve the quality of life for the community and volunteers through valuable public service projects. Involving residents and community groups in volunteer service develops a healthier community.

United Way Day of Caring - September 16, 2009 - The United Way Day of Caring is an opportunity to improve the community through service. The day-long event mobilizes employees of local companies and other volunteers to make a difference by matching volunteers with community needs and projects.
We create teams of community-spirited volunteers who are willing and able to join together to make our community a better place to live. Service projects include: painting, washing windows/screens, gardening, cleaning/clearing roof guttering, winterizing a home, yard work, small building repairs to porches and decks; or an afternoon of reading, playing cards or games, or just visiting.
Show the community that you care. Join hundreds of friends, neighbors, and colleagues to provide help to those in need in our community.
